This Product Return and Storage Policy outlines the conditions under which Collabarts will manage the return and storage of products provided by clients for photography and videography services. This policy ensures clarity and fairness while maintaining operational efficiency.
1.1. Client Responsibility for Return Shipping
Clients are responsible for arranging and paying for the return of their products. Collabarts will facilitate returns using one of the following methods:
A prepaid return shipping label or parcel provided by the client, or
A shipping service coordinated and funded by the client before dispatch.
If no return arrangements are made within 14 days of project completion, Collabarts reserves the right to dispose of the products or retain them for operational purposes.
2.1. Alteration of Products for Production Purposes
During production, products may undergo modifications or be exposed to substances to achieve creative effects, including:
Physical changes such as drilling, cutting, or shaping,
Exposure to chemicals, adhesives, or dirt, and
Broken seals or opened packaging.
Collabarts cannot guarantee that products will be returned in their original condition.
2.2. Unsuitability for Resale or Consumption
Products used in production may no longer be safe for resale or consumption. Clients are advised that:
Collabarts is not liable for any issues arising from the resale or use of these products, andProducts should only be resold or used after client inspection and certification of safety.
3.1. Standard Storage Policy
Collabarts does not provide long-term storage for client products unless the client is under an active monthly retainer agreement.
3.2. Storage Fees for Non-Retainer Clients
Clients without a monthly retainer or an active booking must:
Communicate their intention to have Collabarts store their products prior to the shoot, and
Agree to a storage fee, which will be invoiced separately.
Unclaimed products beyond the agreed storage period may be disposed of or repurposed at Collabarts’ discretion.
3.3. Active Retainer Clients
Products belonging to clients under a monthly retainer agreement will be stored as part of their service package, subject to space availability and agreed terms.
4.1. Loss or Damage During Return Shipping
Collabarts is not liable for any loss or damage occurring during the return shipping process. Adequate packaging and insurance for products are the responsibility of the client.
4.2. Studio Environment Risks
Clients acknowledge the inherent risk of damage or alteration to products during production. Collabarts will not be held responsible for loss of value, functionality, or marketability resulting from production use.
By submitting products for use in Collabarts’ services, clients:
Acknowledge and accept the terms outlined in this Product Return and Storage Policy, and
Waive claims against Collabarts related to the condition or storage of products.
